End of Puerto Week

Week Two has come to a close in Puerto Escondido.  Our second week was much like the first.  Pool and beach time with lots of reading and some napping.

We kept up our daily walks and enjoyed the scenes.

A Little Deborah Ballet at the Beach

We managed to catch a few music acts and enjoyed many great meals.

2 Limit Margaritas at the Ben Za

A highlight was the cooking lesson enjoyed by Deborah, Doreen and Rita.  Inez, the cook in our Zandoyo B&B, demonstrated the prep and cooking involved in serving Chile Rellenos.  Much wine was consumed during the process and we enjoyed the fruits of their labour on the pool deck for the evening meal.

Another was Randy getting to sit in with the Los Amigos band and their leader Mike Lawlor on sax.

Lastly, Deborah and Doreen took part in the Turtle Release at Bococho.  They carried the Olive Ridley turtles from the refuge to within 5 meters to the sea.
